Dates and Deadlines

"The STC is an opportunity for actors who want to deepen their knowledge and technique at one of the best acting schools in the country, and also for those who want to experience a taste of what a graduate program in acting might be like." —Omar Metwally, A.C.T. M.F.A. Program, STC alumnus, and Tony Award–nominated actor (RenditionMunichThe Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, and Amsterdam)

"The STC was the most positive, powerful, and affirming experience that I had as an undergraduate actor. My mind was blown every day at A.C.T. With whole days dedicated to nothing but living and breathing acting, I was totally challenged but completely in my element at the same time." —Kaliswa Brewster, A.C.T. M.F.A. Program and STC alumna

Housing

A.C.T does not find housing for students. Apartments, rooms, and residence clubs are located within walking distance of the A.C.T. studios in downtown San Francisco. Other housing is available a short bus ride away, and San Francisco has an excellent public transportation system. We recommend that applicants use various online options to explore these possibilities. Our Student Handbook, sent to applicants upon acceptance to the program, includes more extensive information and suggestions. Please contact Vanessa Flores at vflores@act-sf.org and 415.439.2426 for more information.
